because they dont know what they got till its gone. its pretty sad actually. i’ve always been a fan of him because he was such an amazing unique person and made beutiful music for the world! i never made fun of him and always stuck up for him when i heard people making fun of him. but now for example some of my friends who hated him and made fun of him are suddenly sorry and love him! its not right

They’re trying to fit in and be cool.. be apart of whatever is the big news story. Kinda pathetic.. if you weren’t truly a big fan before his death, don’t act like one now.
No offense to some younger people either, but I think a lot of these teens and kids really knew nothing about him or his music until his death since he was really big in the early 80’s.

Not everyone made fun and joked about him. He still had, even the day of his death, a huge fan base. Don’t forget he sold out 50 concert dates in London, the first ten or so selling out at a rate of a concert per 11 seconds til he announced more. He never stopped having fans so to say all the fans are ‘posing’ is unfair. I’ve always been a huge huge, fan of his music, but I admit since he’s died I’ve become more interested in finding out the kind of person he was and stuff other than his music, things I didn’t know about before, however I’ve never talked smack about him, ever, and I’m sure most of the other fans on here haven’t. Before he died it was still a relative minority of people who called him ‘Wacko Jacko’ etc., all of it insinuated by the media. So don’t generalize and say it was everyone because it really wasn’t.

I agree but its called ‘a change of mind’. they got influenced by people that did and made up their real mind about them. you know its true that a lot of ppl always follow others and if their are haters their gonna follow them. that’s the way life is. but i personally loved mj. i don’t believe all those stupid rumors of him doing all that nasty crap. he loved kids.
